Oxine Animal health (ah)

Oxine is known to kill every bacteria, virus, and mold it has ever been tested against and is 200 times more effective than chlorine bleach. The most impressive aspect isnt the effectiveness, but the safety of the product. It's much safer than its bleach counterpart. Oxine is used in many commercial operations, keeping bacteria levels down and preventing biofilm from developing. The product can be applied to floors, walls and ceilings as well as equipment susceptable to bacterial growth.

Oxine can be used to clean floors, walls, ceilings and additional equipment. When using Oxine, our technicians will be required to depopulate the area.  This product has been registered and evaluated by the EPA and is considered a category three cleaner. The higher number the category, the safer a product is (maximum of four categories).This means that while the cleaner is not dangerous, those applying the chemicals should still exercise caution.

Where is it used?

Oxine can be used in a range of applications. United Air Care technicians are experienced in the use of Oxine and recommend using this cleaner on your water cooler, water storage systems, confinement facilities or anywhere that requires heavy duty odor elimination. In our past experiences, we have felt that most of the water coolers we inspect require a cleaning with a product such as Oxine. The reason your water coolers are so important is because many times microorganisms, or biofilm starts to develop on the inside of the container and this is the same water that you are exposed to on a daily basis.
